Founded over 25 years ago, inpotron is a passionate manufacturer. Best known for their 100% Made in Germany power solutions, inpotron has built a following off their excellent service and customer-specific solutions. They work with a wide range of industries and customers and, to date, have built more than 10.6 million power supplies and are always looking for new ways to expand and improve while driving sustainable practices throughout their business.
Their Struggle
inpotron was drowning in a flood of paperwork. They were building custom pieces for each client, which required a lot of extra processes to ensure everything was built right and to spec the first time. However, as the business grew, managing things through Excel spreadsheets just wasn’t cutting it.
Project stakeholders lacked transparency on where projects were at. Project updates were spread out and not centralized in one main application, leading to miscommunications on status updates and signoffs.
Also, after Covid, their usual suppliers of raw materials and semi-finished products were disrupted, causing extra strain on their processes. They needed better tracking so they could know what to order and when.
